What are some of the expected numbers if using digital......... ie: Silver dime, Quarter, Nickles, Indian cents, and of course some trash items
Thanks to all who reply..Appreciate it..

I'm replyin' bro...but I can't help ya'

I always use the smartscreen.

There was a chart posted here a while back that had all the numbers of a zillion coins and trash items.
Maybe someone copied it and can post it?

If not...I'm sure there are many digital hunters who will respond...and I wouldn't mind seeing the numbers myself.

Real problem with the numbers though, is the deeper the coin, the more bounce - it's that bounce that can make you deadly with the Explorer. That's the beauty of the Smartscreen - no numbers to remember - just where did the cursor bounce :)

I think this is what you are looking for. Also there are some charts in Andy Sabisch's book on the Explorer and ETrac.

Like Bryce, the Smartscreen gave me much more useful information and that is what I used.

Elton... How are you enjoying your SE???

Have a friend who's been using the digital and doing very well with it..........He just wasn't good at telling me what numbers came up for different targets. I plan on trying it some and see what happens..

Hey there Elton. I see that you're like me. Didn't care for the E-Trac , but ended up with an SE Pro. The SE is one butt kicking machine - have fun with it , and happy hunting.

The number are just another tool i use to check a found target.... but im in agreement dont dismiss the smoother operation of the smartscreen. Those number will lead you to NOT dig targets since on deeper targets they bounce way too much and i found i could only rely on the Cond digits and that wasnt enough info for me to dig.
