I am a city dweller and stick to pretty much parks, schools, tot lots ,bus stops etc. I try and dig trap door plugs if searching deep but got to thinking about u gents that go onto plowed fields and places where shovels are the norm and wondered whether anyone after retrieving a relic ever just widened the hole in a circular pattern at least coil diameter and depth, then removed the stem and tipped the coil back against the stem and dropped it into the hole and rotated it 360 degrees to perhaps get below that umbrella of objects that possible mask things using the Deus's seperation abilities to a new level.

yes my partner and me do that with trash pits.

Great. I had the HPElliptical and it seemed to me this coil is perfect for this and has it worked for you?

If soil is not to dry, try a three sided plug deeper than the target. Take pinpointer and go around the plug, lift out target and place plug back in hole and press it down with foot. I have good luck like this with no brown spots. If dirt is realy dry, I go fishing.

Go dig a giant hole for a tiny target and leave it half to mostly undone...

Or at least that is what somebody in my area does, I am tired of finishing filling holes of other so people dont think I did it!
