Second civil war hunt

Nate’s metal detecting

Well-known member
I was lucky enough to be able to go on my second ever civil war hunt and came up with a few nice relics including my first civil war buckle, first civil war button, and an enfield bullet that appeared to be craved down using a knife. If anyone has a guess to what the object is to the right of the buckle I would love to hear them!

Congratulations on your first button. Nothing like that filling digging your first button. I’m glad I could be there to see you dig it. Congratulations on the carved enfield also. We found a few carved in a close area. Definitely got to be some more stuff there. I can’t wait to get back.

I can’t wait to get back either! With the large size of the field there has to be a lot more goodies to be found
