second Florida hunt

Got out today with Gil and one of his friends. We hunted a couple of parks... with limited success. Got a hand full of clad and a couple of wheats. After they dropped me off i hit a down town Avon area that the city was redueing. Got another hand full of clad.... an old old brass watch (with no guts) and a ... yes silver a 1907 D barber dime in great shape and a 1918 S SL that had absolutely no ware. You could see every little detail on the SL, looked like it did when it was made. Im going to try and get all my finds together when i get back to Indiana and get a picture.

Sweet Dewcon,,,

I cant wait to see the pics.. A SLQ is nex on my list for "want to find" lol

An early AU, SLQ is a great find Dew, congratulations. Look real hard for the 8 over a 7 and you've got a real treasure.

That was the first thing i looked for Larry. Im not that lucky.....hey but the weather is nice and its aways great to find silver. I like the way inland Florida perserves coins.

Well i found it dewcon!!!! :) cant wait to see what goodies you found!!!!

The SL and seated coins are great to find. Sure makes you stay longer in that area hunting. Good job Derrelld.
