Second hunt with the F75 and it was ridiculously noisy

First hunt using a new to me F75 and it ran very smooth. I was able to run the Sens at 99 switching between boost and DE depending on how chatty it was. It ran smooth as long as I was swinging it but was chatty when laid down while digging targets. Yesterday in the same spot it was so chatty I had to turn the sens to 60 and I still probably missed signals I didn't hear clearly. Any guesses? Same location on both hunts.

Check your Ground Balance............ check with a different coil if you have one.

Look around at your location.. Is anything causing severe EMI ????? What is your fe readings...

Where do you sit your pin pointer??? What is your sensitivity setting..

You can try one of the 7 different Frequency Shifts.
One might be better than the others.
Sometimes my activated Garret Pin pointer will react with the coil if set too close when I dig.

Like the first hunt I made a point of flicking the trigger forward every so often to ground grab. No new source of interference that I could tell. Ill try it here at the house this evening to see how it's acting. I haven't noticed the iron indicator go ababove half way.

Your pumping the coil when you flip forward right ??Of course you are ..Just checking..

To change freq.press the red button and push the trigger forward. Every time you do it it changes one number.

Your ground balance procedure sounds a little off, I would suggest going to the manual and get a get understanding of how to ground balance using the ground grab. If you are going to do a ground balance you need to stop hunting and find a spot with no metal in it and then while holding the toggle forward pump the coil up and down and take notice of the GB number.

Sometimes I will try several spots and GB the machine if my GB number seems a little high.

Also do a factory reset on the machine, that will sometimes fix the problem.

Also check where your coil screws into the head unit. If it's loose it will cause major issues. I was ready to get rid of my first one until I discovered the problem.

I had similar issues. I manually ground balanced in the all metal side, then quick grab balanced in Disc and it is quiet as a mouse. Yeah, when I run it over 85 on sensitivity it will get chatty when laid down. I also do the freq shift when it gets chirpy audio and it always quiets it down.
