Second trip out with the E-Trac. Got some silver!

Took the E-Trac out for the second time. Just went to a local park again. Got all the clad in the picture and one 1947 silver dime. I had a good idea it was a silver dime because it was hitting in the 12-44 area and was deeper than the clad I was finding. This thing sure sniffs out the nickels.

She sure stands out doesn't she???!! Congratulations on the finds!

Where were your nickels hitting on the Digital numbers?

Pretty much 12-13 or right in that area. The numbers may have varied by a number but not by much. Seems like not much trash hits right at 12-13 either. With the explorer the square tabs used to fool me quite a bit because they hit so close to a nickel. Not so with the E-Trac. I probably miss some deeper nickels because I only dig the signals that are right in the 12-13 range or close. I have one buried at 6" and the ID numbers are still pretty stable on that one.

Thanks for all the comments.......;o)

Real nice Bill !
Any day you find Silver is a good day !
