I have just read on a another forum that these coils will be available soon through this that big company in florida and i know this particular company does not sell tesoro detectors but they still can sell there aftermerket stuff, it did'nt say what time frame this would be but just thought i'd let you guys know if interested!

What would a SEF coil do for me and my Tejon? More depth? Better target separation? I'm curious.

Thanks

I beleive there made in bulgaria i think there the ones that look like the huge butterfly style and more depth but to my knowledge i have'nt seen any posts where anyone has tried them yet in the US they are on the pricey side but hey if they work out and find the goodies what the heck!

I would be wondering if any consideration or mention of just where might these coils have to be returned for any maint. or repairs? Now, is not necessarily the time to be premoting all the foreign trade, as we have enough of that being shoved on us as it is without inviting ourselves to be sucked in on whatever comes along. "Hype "has not gone out of style yet and ain't likely to any time, ever!

I think it would be easier finding hens teeth than it would getting anything for a Tesoro from Kellyco.

Nothing voids a Tesoro warranty besides... how on earth would they know if you used an aftermarket coil?? Besides that SEF coils work really well on the White's V3, the E-TRAC, Sovereign, and every other application i've seen.

I would not buy anything bigger than a 12x10 though. It would go as deep as you want to dig but the 8x6 SEF might be a real GEM for the Tejon. I'd try that one myself. They are generally razor sharp on seperation, a bit deeper, and very solid on ID. I don't care where they are made, they are good coils.

I'd like to see a size for size comparison, on the same machine, to see if they perform markedly better than the factory options. I lean to using factory original coils myself.
