Forum,
I have a general question about findng shipwreck coins (pre-1800's) on the beach. After storms, do you believe that they are found by exposing the "old beach" where the coins rested or "blowing or moving the coins onshore with waves?" I have checked out at least two "historic" beaches after storms, but due to replenishment, I have not been able to locate the old coins. I may have to wait for a hurricane. Please give me your thoughts.
Thanks,
Surfline
