SHORT 1 HOUR HUNT

Got out to a old school for a short hunt, the first 30 minutes I had nothing in my pouch but mud . It was cold and windy, got in the back of the school by the fence and started getting signals. My very first hit was a 1937 Washington quarter at about 8" deep. I had on the 12x15 sef coil since there is so much ground here to cover. The next hit turned out to be a 1933 Canadian penny. Then i got this deep nickel hit that buried the depth meter at about 10 or 11". I seen it sticking straight on edge in the hole thinking it was a V or buffalo. I pulled it out to find a 1941 Jefferson :puke: not what I was hopin for. So I keep going about 2 feet away got a 12-15-12-16 hit and at 7," got a silver war nickel ,1943-p my fifth of the year. I hunted back to the truck and only got a couple of charms. The E-TRAC sure is a killer on nickels, not to mention the silver....Thanks Phil.

Great hunt Phil. Thanks for braving the cold and wind to bring us these finds! I for one appreciate the hard work you went into on the hunt and also the pictures. Hope you can get back there, I'll bet there's a lot more.
