This is interesting and seems to partially verify this target "lock on" or in this case more like "signal building" or "signal enhancing". Notice the auto sensitivity number was not moving. Now maybe behind the scenes there was a change in the sensitivity as there are 3 channels and we only see one number. Anyway, observe how no signal at first turns into a solid thunking sound.
Have any of your experienced similar things? Not necessarily with thunking. For example sometimes before videoing I check the signal and it's good, then a few seconds later I turn the video camera on and the signal is no longer good - goes in both directions! I OFTEN see this on coins that barely hit and then as I hover above them and "wiggle" the coin comes in much better. The E-Trac does this better than any machines I've used in the past.
Enjoy,
