Hit a nice section of sidewalk tear out today with a friend. I found a mercury dime and three indian head pennies. (1900, 1885, 1864 L). Also found a nice ornate old button. Last picture is a pic of my friend's finds for the day. Silver Washington quarter, merc dime, 2 indian heads, a Chinese cash coin, and a nice draped bust large cent.
Fantastic finds! Just imagine all across the country what lies beneath all those old walkways!! I wish they would tear up some of the old walkways in my neck of the woods as my town was incorporated in 1785
Wow incredible!!! I hit a early 1900s sidewalk rip up also. 2city blocks worth, and skunk!!!! My at pro acts weird during those condition. Not sure why but have found some great thing also like buff nicks, ind hds, rings,in prior dig ups.
I love sidewalk, street and parking lot tear outs. I picked up a nice 2 real and one of my best large cents from a parking lot tear out last year. Nice finds!
