Three locks two sifted, one detected. Also some silver and old gold sifted from an old incinerate dump along a shoreline. It's amazing how much there is to learn about how targets are classified and distributed by water. One of these quarters came from seeing some nails and rust--heavy stuff--popping my scoop in and --bingo! This project has taught me more about where to look for gold than years of detecting. Any one who knows what "The Templars" is let me know--thought it was a bottle ornament at first with the odd placement of the links. The earring although not huge, is 18k.
