Silver alloy class ring.

Found a ten year old men's class ring today. My first piece of "almost real" jewelry. I've found several pieces of junk jewelry but today's is the first to be worth anything at all.

Ring is marked "Jostens ELT"; the ELT indicates a blend of at least 70% silver with some platinum and who knows what else.

Ring was a couple of inches down, and with a Detech Ultimate coil, it rang in at an absolutely slamming 10-47. There was no question about there being something good under that coil. My Etrac was screaming at me.

The Detech Ultimate is growing on me. If the iron isn't crazy thick, it performs really well.
