Was back at the spot Kschae4 and I have been doing well at. Had a rough day yesterday me and the detector were not seeing eye to eye. :rage: Got a 1905 IH and the beautiful bell that sounds awesome. Was hitting a low area and found a small dump site, possible privy, and pulled the bathing privilage badge, pen and the bottle stoppers. Today after a long talk with my detector I was back at it and pulled the key and the 1954s quarteron a short afternoon hunt. Thanks for looking.

All of it looks really old doesn't it boy those bottle tops take me back to my childhood, i love finds like that it keeps it interesting.

HH again.

Rusty, very nice bell and some decent coin finds. Would you believe you had to pay to go on the beach even way back in 1936. Many years ago I dug up a 1936 Season Badge for Bradley Beach. I still have it. HH, Dave

nice finds! I really like the bottle stoppers and bell. cant have too many silver quarters either! HH Ed in co.

I see the familiar star burst pattern of these horse bells.I found one with the same pattern that dated to the late 1700's.If the horse bell has initials on it you can look it up on the net and date it.Just goggle old sleigh bells. :-D

Nice relics. I ve found some of those older bells. Heavy gauge, if you strike them or can get them to ring they have a very pure sound, compared to the cheap ones out today. Good going, CO

Here is some info on crotal bells. I'm attaching it because the last bell on the page looks a lot like yours. Similar loop decorations on lower half.

Nice finds! I just love those old ornate keys.

Old keys and ornate furniture pieces are my favorite things to find

Very nice pouch of finds! Something for everyone. Cool bell, and I did pretty well selling some of the old pens on ebay last year.
