I post on two forums.... when I do post... I hope this doesn't bother anyone, but I know that I often see posts on one forum that I don't see on the other. so...
Never thought I would find this....
I had a bit of time to "kill" so I thought I'd hit the yard.
Been over this particular yard before, but that was awhile back.
I've been using full tones and a tweaked Calabash program that has been doing well.
It's ALL about the tones !!
So this yard after an hour or two yielded a 1949 nickel, 10 memorials, 7 Wheaties, a Chinese cash coin and three dimes.
The dimes are a 1954s Rosie, 1942s Merc and a 1872 Seated cufflink.
When I dug it I thought it was a top to a toothpaste tube and through it in my pouch without another look until sorting my finds.
The Seated in this condition if it were not made into jewelry would be a $40+ coin and if it were a CC mint over $1100!
Anyway it's a pretty cool find none the less.
Now who would loose a cufflink without the stone??
Now I need to figure out which hole it was in....
The cufflink is in the upper left corner of the dumped picture and just above the pennies to the right of the buckle in the sorted picture.
The other two dimes were in my pocket during pictures because I knew what they were.
Seem I missed a bit.....
