Hello everybody, I was able get out for about an hour again today over at the same old fair ground/ baseball field. I was detecting another part of the field when I received a high pitched silver tone on my Quattro. I saw that on the meter that the object was fairly deep and TID was reading 37/38. I cut a large plug and was still getting sweet sound and figured it was something good. At about 8 or 9 inches I found a 1943 silver quarter on edge. I was thinking to myself wow this small coil can find them deep and I was very impressed. The area I was searching I was getting Iron hits about every 1 foot or so and was happy to pull this sucker out.

John, I read your PM on this find, you're knocking-em dead since you got the 6" coil. Congratulations.

Thanks guys, I never expected I would find a bunch of silver and old copper cents at this place since this place has been pounded hard in the past. This coil is doing what I want it to do, pull out hard to find coins. I am thinking there is some barber hiding there. I have few other place in mind to try out.
