Six Mercury Dimes

SAGITTARIUS

New member
Today I found my first mercury dime with my Explorer II bought from LabradorBob. In the past six months I have owned six different Minelabs and have found a mercury dime with each. First, Detector Quattro---1943, Second, Safari---1945, Third, Elite---1937, Fourth, GT---1936, Fifth, X-Terra 705---1942, Sixth, Explorer II---1941. There were some other good finds including my 93 year old mother's wedding band lost for over 50 years. All detectors were good and it was a fun journey with a lot learned from using them and reading the forums. I like the Explorer best and have sold the others. A special thanks to Bryce IL, James N.D. Rick(ND) and others for sharing their techniques, LabradorBob for the nice detector and Findmall for making this all possible.

You are more than welcome from my end buddy:)...and Findmall is an AWESOME site.

I think you will continue to like the Explorer line. If you have made it this far without wrapping it around a tree:cool:...then you are well on your way to continued success.

Take care and good luck hunting.

SAG..... you are still missing my RULE to remember.. NEVER sell a macine until its PAID for itsself. If you do you never learn it or know which was the best for your technique and type of hunting. Stick with the Explorer for a bit. Everyone who switches machines will notice their finds drop off at first, BUT they pick up as you learn the machine. Many just think its the machine.... but it isnt its their time spend with the equipment.

Doesn't really matter what you found the silver
Merc dimes with.....congratulations anyway. :detecting:
You now have one of the best, if not the best,
silver machines on the market. (in my opinion)-:minelab:
Gold Nuggets :wiggle:

been through a few coils in the past years. I seem to buy them and sell them right away. I just got the new S.E.F. 6x8. I'm going to take my own advice this time and give it a fare shake, and focus. GL to you and welcome to the forum.GR
