I forgot to post about this when it happened a few months ago. This happened in Murrfreesboro, Tn, a town south of Nashville.

I'm sorry, but I'm not a history guru, so some of this info. might be a little inaccurate. Also, the info isn't going to be very detailed when it comes to the history.

During the CW there was a battle in the Murrfreesboro area that was, after a few days, won by the Union:usaflag:. Because the Confederates lost, they had to retreat to the south. The Union gave chase, but didn't have enough time to bury their dead in proper graves, so they just buried them where they died. Well, 150 yrs. later at the beginning of the day a worker on a backhoe noticed a bone(s) laying in the dirt that he had just moved. Him and the other workers investigated and soon discovered more bones. At this point they called the cops who in turn called the forensic people. After finding the main part of the body and studying the clothes he wore ( what was left of them) they concluded that he had died during the Civil War. Along with the small pieces of clothes they also discovered the metal buttons from the shirt he had on when he died. They( news people) never said if they found a belt buckle or anything else other than the buttons on his shirt.

Now I don't about you guys, but I definitely would not have wanted to find those relics. I probably would have had a heart attack right then and there. Plus, the city probably wouldn't have allowed me to keep the buttons or anything on the skeleton.;)

HH!!
