Slow start at new site.

Well, I just got back from the new site I told you all about. No windfall of finds, but a few worth mentioning.
My friend got 3 Foreign coins all dated 1880s. Can't tell you much about them but one looked like it might be Gold. Just a little pea-knocker of a coin.
I got a Large that I think will clean up just fine, also got an Indian 1907 and my smallest lock yet

Cool finds... Wish I could make finds like that and only call them "Worth mentioning". Those would be great finds for me right about now!

Find the taverns and maybe they got drunk enough to loose a coin. Another hope is they buried their coins in a dirt bank, and they got hit by Indians and no one knows about the cache except them, but they perished. Too bad your friend couldn't post the other coins, would love to see them. It must have been torcher with the heat and swetting with the headphones on. Save a LC find for me there Robert.....I plan on next week to hit the road....Sunday is my oldest Daughters graduation but Sat is open for me.....My XS is getting very antsy, its been a while since she got out and sniffed out a coin.

Awesome finds! Is there any identifying marks on the lock? In SoFla, I have no chance of finding any large cents, so I live vicariously through the rest of you! Keep posting those great finds.
