Small coil for E-Trac

I have been hunting some old homesites that are infested with iron and I have the stock coil as well as the 13" ultimate coil. I like both coils but in an area with a lot of iron they are very difficult to use. I am going to purchase a small coil and was wondering what people think of the 6X8 sef and the sunray x6.

Sunray X-8.....A lot of people love the 6x8 Sef.....and the Sunray 8"......I think I would get the Sef 6x8....For a little more seperation....Don't forget about the Detech 6".....great little coil!....For the real trashy area's.....The Sunray 5" is a little to small......Take it easy!

I have the SEF 6x8 and the Sunray X5. I love both of them. For me on a new place with lots of iron, I always start out with the SEF 6x8. I recently hit a spot that I had gridded with my stock coil pretty good, the SEF 6x8 managed to squeeze another Mercury dime out of that spot. Depth seems to be a little better on the 6x8 compared to the X5, but I use them both.
