Small / Medium / Big Silver & Nickel Trifecta !

I've been working long hours but I was still able to get out and hunt four times last week. With not having much free time available - I tried to focus on sites that have given up some old coins in the past. The four - (one to three hour long) - hunts were at a town park - 1800's church parking area and two abandoned houses that I got permission to hunt.

I found the 1946 Walking Liberty Half Dollar - on what used to be the front lawn of one of the abandoned houses. This half was 5" to 6" down in black dirt - when I rolled the plug out - this big silver coin was sitting in the bottom of the hole - staring me in the face like a car headlight - was a heart stopper !

Found the 1906 Liberty V - 1926 Buffalo and the 1947 Jefferson Nickels in the church parking lot - all three of these nickels were found in a 25 ft. area .
The E-Trac never ceases to amaze me ... The 1906 V Nickel was down an honest 6" - in a hard packed - (90% stone - 10% dirt ) - parking lot - and I was still able to receive dead on - target I.D. numbers - wow ! This is also my first Nickel Trifecta !

The other silver coins and the 1911 Liberty V Nickel were found at the town park.

The Indian and Wheat Cents were found at all four locations.

Hope everyone has a great season ! --- Mark
