:smile:SE Pro question (guess it could apply to ANY detector)

D&P-OR

Well-known member
My baby (SE Pro) has arrived--(some days ago)!------NOW, my question is----What may I do with this weather so I can get her out & use her???????---Please don't tell me where to go!!------Del

You woosie, put a rain coat on you and the SE and get out there and hunt. You won't melt.....and you call yourself a detectorist....... Crybaby.

Plastic wrap the hand grip handle, cut a baggie to cover the control box
and tape it down, put on your rain gear and get muddy. You will wash up
and the Explorer will clean up as well. We do it all the time here in the
N.W. Good luck to you............Gold Nuggets :wiggle:

:detecting: :poke:  LOL

Notice the time and Larry is home.

Aw Larry------Ya haven't seen no mud duck till you've seen us OR mud ducks!------Years ago when I was a kid back in the mid- west they used to go up in planes & drop dry ice into the clouds.---The idea in doing that was to cause rain.---Don't ask me if it worked---I'm too old, can't remember.------Wonder if they could drop "something" into the clouds to get it to stop raining???? :spin:----------Now, gittin back to yer statement-----I've been called a bunch of things---git called to dinner everyday-----but I have NEVER, NEVER been called a det--detec---TECTORIST!!!!-----So there!!!---And furthermore, I don't have a rain coat!!!!----That's how dumb----uhhh I mean TUFF I am!!!!------I am glad you told me I won't melt though, that's something I've always been skeerd of.----------Del

Hmmmm I wonder if dropping Portland into the clouds would work:nerd: LOL

I can't hunt today, it looks like it might rain.......

Nancy and I just got back from a Sunday lunch and I'm off to work to get a store done and maybe a couple of hours swinging the coil after that. If you look at the radar for Peoria, we just had a big storm go through, but that won't stop ME from hunting.....:poke:

Congrats on getting a great machine, but don't let the rain stop you. I've hunted in the pouring down rain many times, just be sure and use the environmental cover. It has never failed me and my machine ran great every time. The headphones are another subject, but since I starting using Killer B headphones I have not had a problem. Happy Hunting!

When you see a guy detecting in the rain you know he is addicted and hardcore :please::please: Been there and done that :detecting:
