I have but a few hunts with my new Deus under my belt, so imagine how pleased I was to pull this lovely copper.

Surprised at how shallow a find it was considering it was in a public park?

Then about 10 minutes later I pulled another one, but dated 1913.

It certainly isn't the oldest coin around, but for the middle of Canada its pretty good. LOL.......

I really thought that it was going to be a virgin park too (as hard as that may seem), but once there I found some old poorly dug holes, and the trash laying on top or beside the hole.

This is day 3 for me at this park and I have found lots of Wheaties (1918 was the earliest) and years 1929,1930,1931 and 1932 Canadian small cents, but not one single silver??

I'm thinking whomever the trash hound is, he's great at plucking up the silver but really poor when it comes to the rest of the stuff?

I'm going to try the full circuit of using the Deus, the CTX and AT Pro in a marked off location just to see what happens. Of course I will do this all on the same day, so that the weather conditions don't give an advantage to one machine over the other.
