Software Fe Update for Equinox

Bought my Nox 800 last May and thought it would have been all up-to-date in terms of software but I just went to the Minelab site and downloaded the new Fe update. Its suppose to help get rid of the bottle caps, which I have found plenty of even with high iron rejection. I think it might help with large iron targets as well in terms of screening out. Just loaded it onto my 800 but haven't had a chance to try out because of sickness/cold. Ya may want to check it out.
 
FE-2 does work on the bottle caps at about mid-scale. You’ll get a chopped signal/iron grunt and easy to distinguish. The trade off is possible non ferrous targets missed adjacent to iron objects from my understanding when Fe set too high.
 
Update works great on crown caps, something very plentiful in Germany, you get a broken signal which is easy to distinguish after 10 target experience. Made a world of difference for me here.
