Sold my Minelab SE Pro

Am I normal or nuts? Just sold my SE and interested in a Vaquero. I like what I see and read about this machine.

You'll enjoy the lighter form factor. No first hand experience, but the depth on a Cibola was enough to have me looking at better digging tools.

I have no experience with Minelab except their 305 Xterra model. I do own a Vaquero and can tell you it is an excellent detector.
If I could only have one detector, it would be the Vaquero. It loves deep tiny lead and brass targets along with nickels.

Like Topdecker says, make sure you have a good digger cause you are going to need it. Good luck with the new Vaquero and HH !

I traded my explorer se for an omega 8000 and just got a tesoro outlaw. I had a Vaquero and loved it way more than my minelab. I think that minelab makes a good machine but there no better than any other. I just couldn't handle how slow they are and the weight. Also I find that there tid is less accurate than any other machines I have used. Just my 2 cents. You will enjoy the vaquero. I find the tesoro detectors are the funnest detectors made. I will always have a tesoro or 2 in my arsenal.
