Some of my beach finds from back in the day

I see a lot of guys posting pics of their finds and realized I never posted any, well, except for that scientific fish detection thing I found that belonged to the University of Delaware, which I returned. I know I had pics on the hard drive of my old PC that I’m about to replace. I’ll be building a new PC, so I’ve been going through my files to see what I want to keep or delete and came across some pics I took of some of my beach finds.

I know I probably have more, but I’ll start with these. Most of these were dated in Aug 2012 or Jan 2013. I didn’t take pics of most of my hunts but if I had the time after cleaning the finds, I might snap a few. BTW, sorry for the low quality of these pics but it was 2012 / 2013. These were taken by a Cannon Digital Camera that I bought my wife for Valentine’s Day. That camera was great back in the day, but compared to the camera in my cell phone, it’s an antique, lol.

I also included a pic of a really nice Conch shell that I found while detecting. I always say that treasure comes in many forms, and this one was gorgeous. My wife loves seashells, so I popped it into my pouch and gave it to her when I got back from the beach. She wasn’t interested in the coins and jewelry I found, but she sure zeroed in on that Conch shell really quick.

And speaking of different forms of treasure, you’ll notice a couple miniatures of Jack Daniels above the Conch shell. Those are the wife’s. She liked drinking JD, which I don’t, I was more of a Seagram’s 7 & Bacardi 151 guy, but I sure do love JD because for me, JD was a different type of treasure map. In other words, when my wife drank JD, it would lead to me experiencing one of my favorite forms of treasure, if ya know what I mean, lol.

And best of all...a copy of a path to many wonderful memories.

Memories are becoming more and more important as I get older and older, lol. I can't remember what I had for dinner last night, but I remember my detecting adventures, events in my childhood, my military service, it's kinda crazy how I can vividly remember details of events long ago but can't remember simple things I did a day or two ago.

Luckily I've been picture and video taken for most of my adult years, if not for them they would be lost memories. Even now I wish I had taken more.. Im sure if it were digital I would have.

Some nice treasure's!
