Some silver, gold and nickels

Last week decided to hit the lake again. Found 4 wheats and a war nickel in the same areas I’ve been hitting. Today was a bit windy but hit a country church and got a wheat and that was it. Headed to a park in my dads hometown that used to be the grade school. We’ve found hundreds of coins out of the park and it’s been beaten. Nothing the Nox wasn’t up to. Got a real deep repeatable 12-13 and down 8 inches out pops a nickel. 1914 S Buffalo. After that got a wheat and then I dug a newer pop tab and I stood up and rescanned the area and got a weird 19 and then jump to a 23 down to a 13 back up to a 21. All over the place. Cut a plug. Nothing. It was off to the side and thought just chasing a nail but didn’t hear my digger hit the rust. Out pops this instead. Looks like it has a gold face on it but the rest is not gold. Super cool old locket. Got it home and took the back off and it still had the glass and paper inside. After that dug a pocket watch face about 8 inches down and called it a day.

I love the locket!! Glad you dug!!

Looks like the Equinox was up to squeezing some nice finds out for you at this pounded site!!!
Good job!!!!
This site we pounded for about 4 years. Since the Equinox has come along we have found another 20 old coins from this park. I am going to go back again and again as there is a massive field that needs dug. There is some really deep signals that need dug as well. Love the Equinox.

I know exactly what you are talking about.... I have been going back over previously pounded sites and making some nice finds.... that Equinox has impressed me since I started using it.
