Some silver this morning...and a "mystery " coin

It was another HOT morning at the beach..close to 90*. Packed it in after only 3 hrs. hunting and 3 bottles of Snapple Diet Ice Tea.


Stopped to talk with some picnickers on the way to my car. They invited me to their table for a cheeseburger and soda...I politely declined.... for 2 seconds..then sat at their picnic table and wolfed down that delicious cheesebuger...and chased it down with a Coke...nice people.

I'll have to look for more friendly picnickers tomorrow

Found the pretty .925 in damp sand.

The '43 "merc" in dry sand

The "mystery " coin found also in dry sand. It is not so mysterious if you look closely at it...I'm zapping it now to get a date, I hope .
