With our recent rains, decided to work some housing site driveways this morning. They are gravel and Tn clay, so they can only be dug on with some good moisture in the ground. Otherwise, concrete! Didn't dig may targets today, but one, for lack of other terminology, was an iffy one. It gave a mix of tones and readings and I almost passed it up thinking it might be a bottle cap trying to make my F 75 LTD and me think otherwise. Since it is easy digging, I went for it. The first picture shows the targets that were all in the same clod. A screw incased in plastic, a 1959 one shilling and a 1982 Caymon Islands 1 coin. Along the way did manage 2 wheat cents, USN spoon, a few cents and clad coins and the 1917 Mercury dime. Yesterday Gerald, Chris and I hit a big field and gravel parking lot that was loaded with molten lead, iron and other trash. We did manage a few wheat cents, some clad and I got the black? Mercury dime. Can't get a date out of it just yet....and probably won't. Thanks for looking and HH jim tn
