weather finally broke so I went to a field I have permission on that I've hunted before with little success. Only found 4 newer coins closer to the old hotel but I thought I'd share these bedded elk that were out in the field. No good coins but the payoff were the elk and the sunshine.....!!!!!!

I took along my camera as I knew these elk would be out there and we actually had some sun. Pretty much knew the fields wouldn't pan out but had to get out while the sun showed? Still raining pretty constant here, every day rain. I do have another field I can do where a buddy that recently died told me he'd lost 5-6 silver dollars while on the way to a store (no longer there) when he was a kid? We tried a couple years ago to find said coins where he thought he may have lost em but the brush was high and you really couldn't swing the tector...no luck. I may try again if the weather breaks as the brush isn't near as bad now? That's the only "lost treasure" story/place where I know where he "thinks" he lost said coins. If you see me post any silver dollars in near future....you'll know they came from the "lost Mark treasure".....lmao!
