Today I visited a field searched many times before.Infested with small and large iron.So today I tried different settings. Sens 80 Disc0 and sounds2c I only had 45 minutes of time on the field but it produced a number of "old" signals not found before. 4 .303 bullets ,shot gun case a button and an AE4 of Constantius 2nd with the reverse of Soldier Spearing fallen Horseman During the search I determined that I was not missing any positive signals. The machine ran stable with some iron trying to creep in but was no problem.I shall use these settings again

Brian, thats a stunning roman, out of interest what coil had you been using ???

Using the Mars Tiger I am realy sold on that now far more stable than the T2 stock coil about the same ground cover and good depth even on the bullets !!

I've had very good success as of late hunting in the 2c mode. When the iron tones become overwhelming after a while, 2c is a game changer. You're not discing out the iron you just can't hear it but the t2 can. I've discovered I'd better dig all signals in this mode and it's paid off.

my version doesn't have the 2c. are you saying that it detects the target but gives no audible signal. I don't really see what the advantage to that would be
