Sometimes its funny

When you put up some videos you always get comments and for the most part they are positive but there is always THAT person that has nothing but negative to say.....;o) I have put up a couple comparison videos and its really funny to me that people want to tell me that detector X is as good as the Etrac, but yet they have never used an Etrac. Meanwhile I own both and do side by side comparisons while in the field and most are never taped. To me that is funny........if they only knew.......;o)

Please send a link on the videos, I would love to see them. I'm waiting to get the rest of the money for the etrac.

Yep....ETRAC.......worst detector in the world....they won't find squat.......I WOULD NOT BUY ANOTHER ONE................... until this one goes down..........HH

Ken hold out for the Etrac. And of course I tell everyone in Boise the Etrac is terrible so they wont compete with me. Idigid

Will Do !!! cannot wait !!!!!:hot:

I get a kick out of some of the responses. All my videos have been only to compare head-to-head via video so people can make the choice themselves. I try to be as fair and equal as possible yet I get accused of purposely misleading people, not knowing what I'm doing and having their particular favorite setup wrong. Here is just a few I got from my head-to-head between the E-Trac, V3i and Omega 8000.

No introduction on what your doing, how your doing it and why your doing it. No explaining on the settings of the units or anytthing else. I truly find this video useless!

Sounds like you had the sensitivity to high on the omega, because it was going off even before you started to swing the coil. Seems to me as if the Omega would have beat both other detectors if you would have lowered the sensitivity. It would have produced a steady high tone! The omega is all it claims to be and more!

Stick to the OEM Loops for better results. The Omega 8000 has no business in a comparison. Should have used a Tesoro Compadre while you were at it. The Omega was being swept way too fast which accounts for the jumping around tones. I wasn't sure what you were over but it sounded like a higher conductive target. Try a nickel and you will see that the Omega and V3i would excel. Nothing was said about the ground balancing which may have been off judging from the results on the video.

my bounty hunter lonestar will do what any of these detectors do.

Thats pretty funny Southwind......Lol. I allow comments on my videos with approval only. That way any of the hateful or negative ones never get posted.

Sorry for the negative comments Bill, but I would leave you positive comments if you shared your finds!!

There will always be hateful trolls who spend more time flaming posts than actually detecting or contributing to the collective knowledge pool. I'll always have a "thumbs up" for you to cancel them out.

I hope I did not come across in the wrong way. I was not really upset or anything. I just found it funny that people want to try and convince you of something but have not even used the detector they want to talk about.......

I would like to compare the Vaquero to the Etrac but I do not own one. Maybe I will buy one if I can find a good deal on one. I am mostly a coin hunter so I really need some sort of notch function to help eliminate the thousands of pull tabs, bottlecaps, etc that are in most places I hunt. I am going to get a Golden Umax and I will do a comparison with those. I tried one once and it really had no depth to speak of but I only took it out one time so I really never gave it a chance. I would not expect the Golden to keep up with the Etrac but maybe it will perform in iron or trash. I will do some tests when it comes in and post some video........

Haters gotta hate!

It always makes me laugh when people say there machine is just as good as the E-Trac. First, nobody claims there's is better, just "as good". Second, why aren't all these other detector users finding the amount of old coins as the E-Tracs?

People can "what if" and complain all day, but in the end the results speak for themselves.
