Hi again,

With the safari, what kind of tones and numbers can I expect for silver coins? Any info would be greatly appreciated! I know this question has probably been asked a ton of times, but I can't find any info anywhere else. Thanks for the help guys!

Usually 39, but soil conditions could make it ring up in the 35-39 range. Dig 'em all..., if you got a silver coin, etc, do a test in the yard.

Awesome! Ill try that. Thanks for the help! I had a whites classic 5 ID before, do you think ill find more and better finds with the safari?

Kurtis,, my silver tends to tid at 39 for quarters and dimes. Haven't found any "big"silver like halfs or dollars, but air testing a Morgan 1879 gave me 34 tid...weird. Sometimes the graph id bar will point to the "i" in silver, that's exciting !

I've got a Morgan, ill try it in the morning. Thanks for the help. My last 2long detectors, I don't think were all that great, I just wanted to get a good one in my price range. From the research I've done, it seems like I made a good decision!

Right on, ill keep an eye out for those numbers and tones. I've onyx been detecting for about a year and a half, and only found 2out silvers (at my parents house, a 1901barber and a 1917shalf merc. Both at about 5 inches with a whites classic 5 ID. ) hope I find many more than that with my safari!
