Sovereign GT and Sunray S-5

Anybody out there using this combo with any success? Intruder 5" Ultra depth hasn't found anything yet unless its on top of the ground.

Cal,I don't think this coil would work well for general use.Target separation is the S-5 main purpose,not a good choice for the beach.I've done a little research on this coil.Depth for most coils equal at least the diameter of the coil.The little Sunray at 5.5 inches should give you over 5 inches.Field reports on the S-5 I've read suggest a max of 7 inches plus for coins. I bought a S-5 last week and looking forward to using it in some of my parks.I'll let you know the stats I find.Good Luck
 
Thanks for the reply Ron. That is what I expected but wasn't sure. I use the 10x12 SEF on the beach which is a real keeper, coverage and depth is amazing. That said, I guess I haven't given the little guy a real chance yet. I'll try some junky parks this week and see what happens.
