Spanish half reale

Got out for the first time this year and found another piece of Spanish silver. Found it in a cornfield along the Juniata River where the original indian trail went through. Registered as penny on my Explorer II. Keep on diggin...

Awesome find! This is another example why I dig all penny signals. There are a lot of people on here that skip penny's. Hopefully your post will change some hunting tactics. Thanks for sharing and HH -Marc
 
Yeah State College is just about a forty minute jaunt over Pine Grove mountain from here. The Frankstown path was the name of the trail.It went from trail to canal and later railroad. Alot of it was saved for a recreation path called rails to trails here in central Pa. Alot of history along this path. You should look it up the next time you get back this way...
