Very excited to get swinging spring is among us here is Maine. frozen ground is thawing and the day light hours are getting longer but still have snow pack but it is melting fast! So I decided to get my Minelab Etrac all cleaned up and and put my hand grip on it is made of a very thin rolled on athletic foam tape and stick on athletic black Tape and is ready for detecting Time!!!! I did find a crack in the arm cuff but I'm thinking about putting some super glue to hold it for the spring summer and fall hunting! So who else is ready!!!!

I went out yesterday and hit a lot of great signals that just couldn’t be reached through the frozen ground. I picked up some surface clad. It was more of a recon trip to see if a return to the area is worth it after the thaw. In full disclosure, I didn’t use my E-TRAC yesterday, but might on the return trip.
