Warming up in southern Maine hopfully spring is near i need some detecting time. My #1 goal and bucket lister is to find one Spanish Reale many have been found in Maine but they have eluded me so far. I have found many many coins, hardtime tokens and Tons of relics. So hopfully this year is the year. I have used many many different brands and models of metal detectors but this year will be my first with the Etrac and having many Minelab units in the past I'm feeling completely confident about using it and it capabilities. Wishing everyone the best of luck this season. Sas

Good luck dude! The etrac is totally capable of finding Spanish silver!

Thanks! Etrac got it in a hole 10.5 inches deep with 4 nails!
With the nails, what signal was your Etrac screen displaying...and what did the audio sound like? TIA!

It was a VERY iffy signal. I had Andy’s coin program running so I couldn’t hear the nails but the cursor was on the right side of the screen and it was a high tone every few sweeps in 50 tone CO. I saw a few 12-45s flash on the screen so I decided to dig. If you scroll back in my posts to late December I describe it in more detail. Happy hunting!
