Got back to a corn field that I posted about some 2 or 3 years ago. The land owner posted all his land to everyone with no explanation. Of course it was his land so he can do as he sees fit.
Today I stopped by and asked one of the sons if his father was there. The boy who is about 30 told me that someone was steeling from them so they stopped everyone.
He finally told me to go and metal detect and if anyone asks tell them Charles said its OK.
So, with that out of the way, here's what I found today. The soil is turned every spring so the coins are not real bad. At least you can ID them.
1864 2 center and a 1798 Large.
Thanks for looking.
