Hello,
Yesterday, when I was making some tests on my Etrac with my coins I accidentally noticed that when I put the coil near my ear I can hear a very silent but noticeable sound of the coil (as if it was working - of course Etrac was on). The same was when I changed to my Sunray probe. I also change the coil to 8" and still the same. Then I disconnected the probe and use only the Procoil - the same.
During Noise Cancel the sound changes as I guess the machine changes the frequencies. Is it normal behaviour - I mean the sound of the coil or the probe when the Etrac is on?
To check if it is normal I made the same tests with my Fisher F75 (which I still own but will go to sell it - for me Etrac much better) and the coil with the Sunray probe - both of them were silent - no sound.
Can sb of You make the same test with Your Etrac and check it is normal with it or only my machine likes to softly talk
and maybe it needs a visit to a doctor...
Thanks in advance.
Sorry for my English- it's not my native -I'm from Poland.
Regards,
radhar
