Straw field finds

Went out to a straw field across the street from the pasture I was hunting and did well. Found a 1856-o seated dime a half reale its a Carlos but don't know if its 3rd or 4th. A 69 caliber round ball. This was yesterday. Today went back out an found a 1944 Mercury dime.

Found just one dime a few years ago.
Didn't even realize it was seated.
Didn't have my bifocals on.
Put in in a bag I use at any location to scan on the ground and set my detectors to.
Especially my GT.

I was setting up for a new 1805 location.
My diggin buddy noticed it as I showed him why I scan coins and jewelry at Every new location I detect.
Typically I bring at least 5 machines special in their own rite.

I was quite happily surprised.

Now if I could just remember where that was I found it.

Thanks the reale is identifiable I'm happy for that just haven't figured out the year range. It could be my oldest silver I'm hoping

I haven't been out in over three years.
My itchy is getting very bad !!!
Worse than spring bike fever.
Never thought I'd say that.

I can't get out unless I'm with somebody for fear of collapsing and as the old saying goes.

Just can't walk very far.

Love to do some curb strips in the ethnic neighborhoods in cleverland.
Though you'd have to Carry.
Possibly I could bring an Old friend who I'm sure would be happy to watch our backs.
Trying to get him into detecting.
Recently retired.

I've poked around many curb strips.
Not digging.
Though saw hundreds of possible silver's and gold.
Seems nobody digs those areas.
Found many pieces of silver and gold jewelry just walking around the parking lots of projects early in the morning.
Just have to remember don't be there after 12 pm.

I know of one special little park next to the projects I worked at year's ago.

Found half of a Rolex 18k watch band still laying around here somewhere.

That was day shift.
Had hit Numerous good targets I couldn't dig as it was after 2pm when the gangbangers were getting out.
Started to circle me actually.
If not for my line truck.
I'm pretty certain I wouldn't be talking now.
Actually had a number of Very close calls over the years.

If we went there early Sunday morning I'm pretty sure we'd be okay.

Just let me know when the weather is in the 70's.
When I usually feel best.
