Summertime

I posted a Riflemen's button and didn't get much response. Been having a great time digging buttons out of hay fields. How about you?
HH Jeff

Not here in Georgia. Too hot, Too humid, Too many ticks and No Shoulders along with Too much undergrowth. We have to do most of our relic hunting in our Winter months when the temp's dip down in the 40's. Lol
Same here in Virginia. 90 degrees, 90% humidity. I break out in a full sweat walking from the porch to the car. Can’t wait for the first frost.

Yes sir this is purely miserable. You walk outside for 5 minutes and you look and feel as if someone turned the hose pipe on you. The older I get, I realize just how much I hate our summers. They need to change the name of the season from summer to Bummer, cause that is truly what they are.

The ticks are horrid here as well, I have pulled over 50 that were imbedded. I contracted a tick disease in 2019, not a pleasant experience 🤒

You really got to be careful around ticks. Another good name for them would be Socialists, because they are real blood suckers and they can make you sick. Sorry about your bout with sickness regarding ticks. They are seriously no laughing matter.

Any you pilgrims find any relics this summer? 😄
Not me! Too dang hot. If this cool weather holds up for a while, I just may find myself down at the Seven Pines/Fair Oaks spot😉
