Sun (Jun 12th) at Indian Park...

Hello all!

Its been 10 days since I hit Indian Park... I've been working the new Honey Hole that netted me 10 pieces of silver and a couple of sterling Rings...

Its been raining for the last almost 2 days here... rained hard and long so I wanted to hit Indian Park as soon as it was over...

I brought the camera today and recorded the sounds, beeps, screens, and recoveries... I'll get the video up tonight...

I wasn't there 5 minutes and had a nice deep 37 conductive... I was not thinking this was a copper...

Looks like 1878:

I recovered a few little relic items but the rest of the 1st 90 minutes was quite as far as nice keepers go... I hit Dunkin Donuts for a quick bio break...

I came back... got out of the car and started the strip right next to the sidewalk next to my car... 2 minutes.... 12/44 12/45 @ 5-6"

1903 Barber Silver Dime... (Silver # 33 YTD)

I was getting worried as it was another 60 minutes... a few buttons... a clip...

Nicer Button: 12/26 @ 6-7"

Then... 9/32 @ 5" wahoo... I was pretty sure Indian...

10-12 minutes later... This was a 9/37 8/39... but I was still pretty sure Indian... (Because of the lower ferrous) and called it out on the video...

I had fun and nabbed a few keepers in the process :)

Very cool Paul, Looks like it was a riot. I hunted a home that was built in 1857 but was only able to pull 2 silvers 1919 the oldest and 10 wheats from the 40's. What program are you running and are you using a different coil other than stock?

I am looking forward to your video, thanks Paul for great pic's.

Today I was using Andy's Pattern in Conductive Mode Multi Tone swinging the 10X12 SEF...

Great finds, I have andys program saved but for the life of me, I simply cannot use it, I try it at all kinds of sites, even clean ones and it is so noisy that it drives me nuts. All I get is non stop choppy signals from iron bleed thru, how do you cope with that?

That park has been great to you!

Terry I guess its like anything else... You use it long enough and I can spot a target over crap... or so I think I can :)

I've hunted this site many times / many ways... small coil (6X8 SEF) / Bigger coil (10X12 SEF) - TTF and Conductive... Different angles... different moisture levels... Different speeds...

Each of the above has yielded 2-5 Indians and 1-3 pieces of silver every trip...

Paul, my problem is I get a nice high tone and it is iron, numbers like 27-45. And when using that program I feel like I have to constantly look at the screen, almost as much as when I am using TTF

This park is so so so loaded with tons of surface trash... There is a package store at one end... and 3 apartments building lining the other end... so... a gazillion caps, pulls tabs, nip tops, etc... and I cleaned out a buch every time there to unmask some deeper targets... so I have to watch the screen pretty steady there for depth....

This park is a nice old park in a not so nice spot... For what I have recovered there... I like the challenge... All of this stuff is coming from a 75 X 200 foot area... and I'm sure there is lots and lots and lots more :)

I know what you mean Terry, I think that will tone down a little when the summer starts to sap some deeper moisture out. I just remember this year started off like last, a lot of good sounds off those nails, and last year towards Aug, and the fall they stopped and yet that was when I was getting some good finds with high Fe numbers. We'll see this time, but Andy's pattern will false more than the stock.

Great finds Paul. Looking forward to watching you find 'em.
