Sun Ray Target Probe

New member
I just traded my White DFX for the new White Vision. I kept my Sun Ray Target Probe that I used on my DFX. Does anyone know if I can use the probe on the Vision. I was told that it would work but was limited.[/b][/b]

So far, every coil I have been able to try on my Vision has worked. In my ground, I can't use Tx Boost with the stock 10" DD or others. Coils haven't been an issue, yet.

Mine works great, you should have no problem.

Thats funny, I just got back from hunting & was gonna make a post about the DX-1.. It works great on the Vision. I have Sun Ray probes on both of my Minelabs & the Dx-1 works by far better than either one of them.. Im curious if the DX-1 worked that well on a DFX?? wildherre

Yes, Mine works fine with TX boost on.. It will get a dime at about 5 inches... wildherre

MORNING EVERYONE. I have a new V1, version 1.0. I also have an MXT w/DX-1 on it. I have found thet here in East centralFL(just above and west of WPB) that the wetter the ground is the deeper the DX-1 seems to go. With very dry ground (and a lot of that lately) it will reach down to 3.5 to 4". and when wet it will go as far down as 5" in good black dirt. HH K.C.

V3, MXT, DX-1, bullseye, +4 coils :detecting:

The DX-1 works fine with the V3 Best Data, but I have not tried single frequency yet with it.

Hillbillycat, you will need the DX-1 for the V3.

The DX1 is a good probe .I had fair luck with it .Good repair from sun ray. I just got a pair of garrett pro pinpointers,1 that I gave to my hunting partner. They are awsome 3-4 inches of depth a light on it for dark places and a vibration that gets stronger the closer you get to target along with a progressive beeping.I highly recommend this tool at abot 130 bucks it is awsome small and water proof to a degree.Yazoo
