Sunray X-1 probe depth

About 3 inches in auto +3. Put it in manual @ 26 and it looks to me like 4 to 5 inches. This is air testing

That is about correct! I carry them if your looking!

Thanks Bentrac, Thats pretty impressive. I thought it was only an inch or two. Will have to invest in one.

They are great probes you wont hunt without one after you get it

The Sunray x-1 is great. I also use a Garrett Pro-pointer in addition to the Sunray. They each have their purpose. I now tend to use the Garrett Pro-pointer almost all the time. I will grab the SR probe if there are more than one target in the hole and I want to see which direction to dig. The SR probe also helps in that you can use pinpoint off the etrac and that seems to be deeper. For target ID in the house just messing around it is way easier to use the SR Probe because you wont get the EMI hits and you can sit and see the Etrac screen at the same time you ID a target.

I have the SR probes on both my detectors. I think you will like one.

Sometimes I think they have too much depth! You can get a target response in the hole and still do a LOT of digging to get it.

The x 1 really shines in the trashy parks thats for sure!! I tend to get 3 to 4 inches with it,And I like the fact of the thing works with disc, I also have a garret pro pointer that has collected dust after purchasing the x1,but when I'm in the woods this winter the g.p.p will get some more action as well, HH
