SunRay X-5 Coils

I just bought a X5 coil and it is white....Now, I just saw another one, and it is black.....What is the diff. if any?
 
The white X-5 was a little lighter and was water resistant. The new black one (which has been out a long time now) is waterproof/submersible and thinner, yet a little heavier. Hope this helps.
