Had the youngest daughter and her beau out for a deer hunt today. No deer but this sunset was absolutely mind blowing!! I know cell phones arent the best but this captured it pretty well!!!!

7×57. That's an old Spanish military round if I remember correctly. Swiss loved it.
Nice flat shooter. Lots of energy.
Though I really like the 308 an 3006.

Tried to find a deer to hold the camera and that didnt work so I had to take the photo.

7x57 also known as 275 Rigby, which Karamojo Bell used to take elephant. Spanish/Cubans used the round against Roosevelt. I believe its one of the best western deer rounds out there!

I used to love bow.
But after harvesting two beautiful bucks with an arrow and bolt protruding from their chests.
Nope. Not anymore.
Neighbors said the one had been limping around for weeks with the bolt sticking out of its chest.
Was so infected couldn't use any of the meat on that one.
