I got the super 12 coil and really like the depth I'm getting. The coverage is good to have already found lots of things that I missed with stock 950 coil. Would recommend this coil to anyone.
 
The sticker they used on it. The 300mm, Super 12 and 300 LTD. Whites did the same thing with the MXT when they packaged it with a 12" coil it was labelled MXT 300, when packaged with the 950 it was labelled MXT E-Series.

With some research or a call to whites, you could possibly date the coil somewhat according to the sticker used if they used one for awhile then switched to another one later.
