It was cold, 25 degrees, frost on the ground and frozen down an inch. That makes for some tough (impossible) stabbin', you can punch through and hit the coin, but then its takes too long to ream a recovery hole out. So I hit a few other gravel totlots I knew about. Then I went to the South side of some schools when the sun was up enough to burn off the frost, about 10 oclock, and commenced to stab, got two stacks, one was a pair of Q's, the other a Q and two pennys. I was marking coins through the frozen ground, just sort of reconnoitering around the school, so I have something to go back for. Four hours of swing time got me 135 coins, 70 of which were pennies, 10.45 dollars, one 1951 wheatie which was on the surface next to a sidewalk. No good jewelry, couple of cheap earrings and this copper ring..
Running again 55 sens, -3thresh, DP tones on the F70. Just amazing how much money is laying around out here, I hunt within 15 miles from the house, all sorts of schools, beaches, totlots, sportsfields, just wondering how long a fellow can keep up the numbers?
