Got out for a hunt today before the game and came away very pleased. Finally got a Washington quarter...1937. Also found a pocket spill of Indians...6 total. One was an 1887 and is now my oldest coin to date. There's a video if you care to watch!

Thanks for the video !!!

Good job on the Indians, nice coins. Congrats.

Thanks for watching and commenting. It was a great hunt for me and I was thrilled to find what I did. Hope to go out again a few times this week!

Congratulations on the finds Dan! Great job on the spill, and also the jar and bowl. Those were neat items to see.

Thanks for the video. I guess the Patriots were the ones to fall short, but you had a great hunt!

great video! nice going on the 6 indians and the silver quarter. man days like that are what we're all after.....thanks for the video....got me psyched to head out now! make some good use out of this beautiful non-winter day.

Dan from the looks of the indians in your video, all they needed was a lil dish soap, and water, after you remove 90% of dirt, dry it good and use a toothpick to pick out remaining dirt, and then apply the wax. I think some of them may have been touching in the spill, seems like when they do they get corrosion on them and it is basically impossible to clean it off. I think they turned out decent though. If you come here and hunt with me, you will see my soil is rich dark black and very kind to indians

Weather looks like it's about to turn a bit chillier but if you want to get out this weekend or next I'm game. I can usually get out on every Wednesday too. Just let me know and I'm there!
