I can't get anywhere near the gain preset mark and still
maintain a steady threshold. Should the gain be
adjusted just far enough to hold a barely audible
steady threshold without wavering ? Tried adjusting
the gain different ways trying to see what works
best. Most of the time the gain is up around 1/3
to maintain a nice steady threshold. That seems to
be the most logical way to run it but I may be wrong.
Maybe a wavering threshold is normal but it seems
like you may miss the smaller signals without a
steady threshold to compare them with.
Even tried running with the tuning just barely in
the silent range with the gain all the way up.
Would like to know from those of you
that use the PI Pro as I really like it and want to get the
best possible depth no matter what the target. Thanks in
advance for any help you can send my way.
